At Pillar Protocol, we believe that accessibility is a fundamental right. We are committed to ensuring our digital presence and our virtual services are inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1/2.2 Level AA standards to ensure our site and digital materials are Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust.

What web accessibility is

Pillar Protocol operates as a remote-first organization. We do not maintain a physical office for public service. Instead, we have designed our virtual workspace to be as accessible as possible:

  • Video Consultations: All meetings are held via platforms (e.g., Zoom or Google Meet) that support automated real-time closed captioning. We are happy to enable these features upon request.

  • Document Accessibility: All digital roadmaps, IEP audits, and toolkits provided to clients are formatted for screen-reader compatibility, utilizing proper heading structures, alt-text for images, and high-contrast text.

  • Flexible Modalities: We recognize that "one size does not fit all." We offer consultations via video, audio-only calls, or asynchronous shared document review to accommodate various sensory and processing needs.

  • Accommodations: If you require a specific accommodation for a virtual meeting (such as a sign language interpreter or a specific presentation format), please notify us at least [48-72] hours in advance.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [A / AA / AAA - select relevant option]. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site 

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for pages containing these elements. We prioritize selecting vendors who share our commitment to accessibility.
